Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes
— Carl Jung

The outside world, the interior world – a balanced life requires us to be travelers of both. My therapeutic practice recognizes the importance of psychotherapy that encompasses the mind and the body. We journey together to explore your unique origins, experiences and life path, as well as what is being expressed physically, emotionally and psychologically.

I’m motivated by a desire to support people to make sense of what has happened to them across time, and to explore how their past experiences might be impacting their present lives. This has led me to focus on trauma-related issues, in particular the relationship between mind and body in response to traumatic experience. I have extensive experience working with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), disrupted attachment, abandonment, losses and intergenerational trauma.

I am trained in psychodynamic and Jungian psychotherapy and draw on approaches from other schools of psychology and modalities – including Object Relations, Humanistic, Gestalt, Attachment Theory and Family Systems – to offer an integrated approach that adapts to the needs of each client. I have a strong background in literature, creativity and body arts, as well as a lifelong interest in philosophy, mythology and shamanism. I’m a passionate traveler of this world around us all, and the worlds that lie within.

I am currently based between New York and Lisbon, Portugal and maintain a virtual private practice with clients in California, New York and Oregon, as well as a global community, including expats and those living or working abroad.
